The buildings can be seen from I-85 near exit 51 (about a quarter of a mile from the Hubbel Lighting building) and consists of two symmetrical buildings with a rather interesting rounded building in the middle. The driveway was centered by a 100-yard water fountain. Again, a nice super-wide angle lens would have done the trick to fit all three of the buildings in the frame… oh well.

On a separate note: comments are now working, so don’t hesitate to compliment or insult me.

New Site Layout

Wednesday, July 8th, 2009

As you can see, this site looks a little different. All the spam comments had finally flooded the MySQL database rendering the administrator control panel absolutely useless. Not thinking what I was doing, I accidentally deleted one of the key fields in the database causes more errors to show up on the website. By that point, I figured it wasn’t worth my time to try and repair the damage, rather, start over.  With a little angt, I finally decided to delete the database and all the Wordpress files on the server. Three years of posts gone. On the bright side: I had a chance to play with the FTP stuff and get it working like it should. I also picked up the newest version of Wordpress and this fancy new “Vista” theme. The cool thing about this theme is that you can change the appearance of it down in the bottom-right corner. I set the blue water appearance as the default. Also, as a precaution, I installed a few filters that will help keep the spam out, and if I’m not mistaken, the comments are actually working so feel free to leave comments on any of my posts.

More to come later.
