Here’s an old Jag E Type seen in the car show at the Scottish Games Festival at Furman University. Usually when I edit photos containing red cars my computer’s like “OMG I LOVE RED!!1 MAKE IT AS BRIGHT AS POSSIBLE!!!!11!” But this one didn’t turn out too bad. I suppose. More photos to come from this show.

Windows Live Photo Gallery by cgancos

I thought this was pretty cool. The newest version of Windows Live Photo Gallery has face recognition built in. Like voice recognition software, the more you use it, the better it becomes about recognizing people. The tags are embedded in the photo itself, so if the file is transferred to another computer, the tag will stick. Also, when a tagged photo is uploaded to a site like Facebook, it auto-tags the people so that you don’t have to do it twice. Another cool feature is that it allows you to select multiple people to show photos that contain these people together.

Ask me about my weiner by cgancos
Ask me about my weiner, a photo by cgancos on Flickr.

This was taken in the lobby of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, OH. They didn’t allow cameras in any of the part of the building so I was limited to shooting in the lobby. It was a stage prop for the band Phish. There are cutouts on top of the meat that fold up to reveal seats. According to the description plaque, the band “flew” around the stage in this thing.

Give it some wheels and you’ve got yourself a wiener-mobile… wait, that one’s already taken, isn’t it? How about a tandem wiener? Bobsled?
